I'm an active duty Air Force officer w/over 26 years of service. I enlisted out of high school, took college classes at night and on weekends to get my degree and eventually my commission.
I'm a Logistics Officer...I don't fly airplanes, but my troops fix, load, refuel, and manage the aircraft while they're on the ground. I'm currently commanding an Aerial Port Squadron--my Port Dawgs load people and materiel on cargo aircraft all over the world. Here's a picture of us on the job in Baghdad deployment before last...
and here's me blowing off some steam
It's not just a job, it's an adventure...or so they tell me
