Hello all,

I am just wondering, which is stonger a corp 10 or a D44?

Thanks for the input.

Red 94 XJ(should be green), 4.0, auto, D30/D44 locked on 33x12.5s
OME springs, Currie control arms, ACOS and lots of cutting
Detours backbone with SB 8000 winch and some other stuff I though was cool
D44+14bff+39's on the way.....

Gear strength is a little better on the 10 bolts, carrier and shaft strength is a little better on the 44's.

They really are very close in strength and half the parts interchange between them.

I believe the prevailing wisdom is that they are essentially the same strength and it doesn't matter which you use.

Strength is nearly identical and availability is pretty close to the same as well. Like Chris said a lot of parts interchange so it's not a big deal finding parts or spares.

FWIW I wheeled my stock 10b with 35's and 37's and it held up fine. In a Suburban.
