Time for an update:


The body sanded and smoothed out, ready for the final coat of primer:




Putting on the primer:










Primering the underbody:







Applying the rubberized undercoating, this was done to dampen road noise as there will be only a bare metal interior:

update on the frame:

The frame...after being sanded, primered, painted, and clear-coated. Engine, transfer case (yes it's a 205 :head, and body lift mounts installed. Note: header wrap, this is the time to do it!

Yep thats the final color but it is going to be in primer for a while. You should see the dash. He just got it back into the shop on Saturday to get the wiring done and the motor fired.
