In Nevada without a front plate its not just a fix-it ticket. You have to go to court and see the Judge. So I drilled and tapped the front bumper, if it gets folded under oh well, at least its there.

About time for an update I think.

I got a winch kind of for Christmas. It's a Ramsey REP8000 that we picked up $250. I had to modify my front bumper to add room for the winch:

I had a chance to use the winch on a snow run. I was pleased with how it did. It's no speed demon by any means. I was stuck in hub-deep snow and it pulled me out with a snatch-block added. The thing that impressed me about that is the winch pulled hard for at least 5min without a break.
