Default whats with the HUGE ads?

Register Now to remove most ads!
each post you have to scroll down a few times before the next one. The little google ads on the left side are stretching each post. Is this happening with anybody else?

I'm trying to get the best click percentage. Average for sites is 2-5 clicks per 100 page views, I get like 1 per 200 or something, so I'm rearranging ads.
