I'm all sad now bacause I don't get to do any more hunting this year. I shot a cow elk before I had to leave for school but that was it. Only saw one bear this year and that was before the season opened. My bro is turkey hunting this weekend so maybe they'll shoot something and send me some good pics. Anyway good luck and post up when you get back.

well got back a bit earlier then expected it rained just about every day for the week and half where we were. we decided enough was enough. I ended up getting my Bull but nobody else got one or even seen anything other then one small cow on the drive home.

maybe im lucky I guess cause it's a fairly nice Bull for my first one. Im quite happy with him. it's a bit early still they arnt really into full rut yet, plus all the rain just made for some shitty hunting. anywho after all's said and done it was still alot of fun even if the the hunting wasnt as stellar as it could have been. I'll have some pics up for ya's later tonight.

I tried but couldnt. he only ever came at night and I could never see him enough to be able to get a shot into him. I set up an ambush one evening for him but he never showed untill it was was past dark and we'd gone ta bed. I did fire off a bunch of 12ga birdshot to scare him off everytime he showed up though. the last time I saw him he was about 15ft away from me when I fired off the shotgun and he took off running, I couldnt see him but I could here him just a givener down the trail through mud.
