Took the squirt to Lake Estes today, he almost caught one. First few are the town of Lyons, CO and the drive up. Rest are Lake Estes.

Nice! I love primered trucks. Looks agressive like that... almost like the back alley thug.

Looks like a great way to spend the day. Is it still cold up there?

No trail time in the caddy yet, still need to stick it on boggers. Yes it is still cold up there. We had wind gusts up to 60, constant wind from the West off the peaks. Elijah got cold after an hour or so then we came down and fished closer to home for a few more. On a calm day though the temps aren't too bad and the view is second to none. Twin Sisters trailhead is only 15 minutes away for a solid hike.

Elijah says he's ready for mountain climbing, hiking, and camping and that I needed to take him that evening.

Awesome shots! That's where I'm getting married in August. Estes was always my favorite place while I was living out there.

Will you be staying for the honeymoon?

My brother got married there and rented a real nice local cabin for the weekend. There's plenty to do in that area.

I'll be there almost a full week before the wedding, then heading off to Yellowstone and Tetons for the honeymoon.

Talk about plenty to do...the whole area is great. Can't wait to go back.
