last week we (gf, dad, myself) headed up to jubilee lake to do some fishing. it was raining off and on all day, fish jumping all around us but not a single bite. we did end up seeing 30-40 head of elk, 5-7 doe's, and 3 or 4 spikes. on our way out started to downpoor.

just rain, not snow yet even though it was cold

it was raining and like 47 degrees, we were at around 5700feet elevation when we seen the elk and then proceeded to go up higher.

i was trying to get a pic of the elk but a truck came by and they ran. the one on the right is a cow elk head sticking out and the one on the left is the back of another elk
