Chad-when do you leave for LA? I heard Gustav is now a tropical depression only because it's over Haiti (I think that's where it was, I hadn't had any coffee on board last time Robin Meade was talking about it.) but the gulf waters are warm and there is no wind sheer in the upper atmosphere to disrupt it. Are you going to hurricane proof your house before you go?
