Default Vespa has a couple hybrids coming out.

Yeah, supposed to. I'm wondering how many local mechanics will be able to work on them, and how much are they going to cost. Vespa / Piaggio are definitely the upper class of scooters, so they can't be cheap.

I think we'll be running into each other a lot Chad, considering I work from home and will be on here on and off most days. I completely agree, most of the new technology to save electricity like solar panels, or to save gas like hybrids haven't come down in price to let the average Joe participate. I mean I just read on Digg about an $11,000 scooter that is all electric and can go on the freeway. It's not going to be replacing any Harleys anytime soon and it's too expensive for the average scooter buyer to get. I can't wait until it gets cheaper for the rest of us.
