| I wondered over here from CK5. This is my first full size trail rig and it hasent left the garage since I got it. Its a 79 K5, TPI 400 sb, Th350, 205. I just got the 1 tons under it. Detroit in the rear, ARB in the front. Need to sell a kidney so I can buy material for a cage, bumpers and sliders.Hopefully itll be Rockin by spring. I plan on using my tax return to get a lomax in it. Josh | |||||||||||

Welcome to the jungle ! I'm in the same boat as you. I bought my '72 Blazer back in June of '06 and only now getting it real close to being street-worthy, let alone trail-worthy .I expect to make Blazer Bash this year. Possibly drive the rig all the way down and back (570 miles each way !).Since I'm rebuilding/double-checking both axles, swapping in a Ram Jet, tranny (Haven't decided which one yet), and replacing all the wiring; I should be good to go by the Summer time ! | ||||||||||||
