| I just found this sight and let me say this is just what I was looking for. I just moved and lucked into a project right before I left. It's a 78' K2500 stock running gear, lb, 383 stroker (or so the guy says) 16" s of lift. I have some plans to maybe shorten the frame and make it a bad truck that I can throw anything at and have it come up screamin' for more. Now for the bag of snakes, the previous owner did some ugly lifting, some home brew crossover steering, and it has been sitting for a couple of years. I would love any input and hope to see you out on the trails. | |||||||||||

| Welcome Aboard! Sounds like a great base for a trail rig. Lets see some pics.

| Yes, I would get it running solid, then get rid of most of that lift like Badbowty75 said. Then I would run it and see what you need to modify first. Oh, and pics?
