| Thought I;d share my past offroad vehicles. Maybe this can be an on going post for everyone's old rigs. Anyway, here's my 94 4door S-Blazer with a solid axle, and then my 94 Ranger with solid axle. ![]() ![]() | |||||||||||

| Man, I've thought about doing the exact same thing with a 4-door S10. How'd you like it! | |||||||||||

| The ride was night and day. Nothing rides worse than IFS. The front springs were a combination of 2 pair of rear s10 leaf packs, built together for 5-leaf. Started out spring under with a D30. Rode fair but had bumpsteer and a D30 is crap. Later spring over with a D44/9". Went histeer on the 44 and it was great. Then went crazy and was chopping it up to add 1-tons, 39" IROKs, linked suspension, and a pickup cab and exocage. Then life changed and I would have no towrig or trailer to get it to the trails. Traded the 60 for my 82 K20 and am recycling as much of the parts into it as I can. Getting long-winded here, but if you have lenient laws then a solid axle s-series can be a great rig. | |||||||||||
