| Saturday I was a spectator for a trail called Carnage. The trail was brutal for some built rigs that ran it. Our very own 38377k5 ran it and lost a stub shaft on his 60. The rain at the end of the day only made things more interesting. This trail is one of the top 2 trails in Colorado. It's one of 3 trails that people argue over being the #1 hardest in the state. Took 6-7hrs to run a trail that 3/4mile long. 38377k5's stub shaft: ![]() Here's some video: Gatekeeper: 38377k5 More videos: MrK5/Carnage-BV Aug2007 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Sunday we ran a trail next to Carnage called Old Chinaman's Gulch. I was actually just a spectator again because B_to_C drove the General since his truck isn't ready for the trail yet. We had a good day of wheeling with no breakdowns. The only thing I hated was the mud on the access road. Unfortunately I didn't adequately think through my agreement with B_to_C, I should have required him to return the truck CLEAN. ![]() Here's what the access road looked like: 5280k5 The General - B_to_C piloting More videos here: MrK5/Old Chinamans Gulch Aug2007 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting | |||||||||||

| Thanks for taking those videos Scott I'm glad everything went well on Chinaman's That trail makes my tires look (and feel) like 30's Lotsa fun though. Oh yeah, the stub took the hub with it and screwed up the spindle a bit (that one's reusable though). | |||||||||||

| Not surprising it took out the hub too considering how jammed up it was. | |||||||||||
