| I have some family in town over these two weekends and have free reign to go wheeling! I'm planning these trips on Sundays. I'm thinking of doing two of these three trails, I'm open to any other Ideas for trails. Just post up what trail and what day you want to go. -CORE -Slaughterhouse Gluch -Rampart Range (Hidden Valley, Dakan Rd, & maybe Winding Stairs) I would really like to do Spring Creek or Twin Cone but odds are slim they would be open by then. I'm crossing my fingers for a heat wave...oh and a huge drop in gas prices ![]()

| I'll have to see what June looks like. Right now I don't know what's going on past this coming weekend. | |||||||||||

| Long as my schedule is clear and I have moolah, I'm up for it. I vote Rampart Range or Spring Creek, haven't been there yet.

| Rampart Range is down by Colorado Springs. Matt, were you thinking the Rampart Range Road or some other trail in the area. | |||||||||||

| The trails I'm talking about are on the North end of Rampart. Rampart runs from the Springs all the way up to Sedalia. Rampart itself is just a mild dirt road, the two wildest trails off of it are Hidden Valley and Winding Stairs. Last year Craig and I started on Hidden Valley, then took Dakan Rd/Bergen Rd onto Rampart. If you go a little further south on Rampart you come to Winding Stairs and Ice Cave Creek Rd. It should make for a good long loop. Again all of this is on the North end of the Rampart system, The furthest we would go down is just north of Monument.

| On Sunday 6/8 Icehouse and I made a run through the Rampart Range system. We did Hidden Valley, Dakan Rd, Long hollow and Illinois's Gulch. Hidden Valley was great as usual, and we ran Illinois Gulch for the first time, there is a section called Moab Hill that is a blast! ![]() ![]() IMG]http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk217/Sinister_MaTa/Rampart%20Range%206_5_08/Picture266.jpg[/IMG] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
